Personal Letter

Hello,

I am Annie Kacin, a rising junior at Marist College. I am majoring in media studies and production with a concentration in film and television and a minor in journalism. I am also currently shadowing for my upcoming position as social media manager for the largest student-run club on campus: Marist College Dance Ensemble. 

I am a very motivated student who maintains a 3.7/4.0 GPA average while being involved in many on-campus clubs. As I pursue my love of creating media content, my interest in all things film and visual storytelling continues to grow.

My previous full-time position as a production assistant intern at a film company, Particle 6 Productions taught me so much about film production and expanded my skill set. During this time I was a primary editor and scriptwriter for a weekly YouTube series, wrote scripts and produced TikTok promotion videos, and was a camera operator for a commission. I also researched AI, secured 3 specialist consultants for a BBCbite-size project, and grew the company brand on TikTok. Overall, it was a great experience while studying abroad in London England.

I aim to get more experience in the media industry and am looking for a full-time paid internship. I hope you enjoy learning about me and viewing my work!
